EMBER AUDIO LABS

Privacy policy

Last updated 27 October 2026

We collect as little as possible. This page explains what is collected, by whom and why.

The website

emberaudiolabs.com uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising trackers. Our host, Vercel, keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and reliability. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when you visit. When you click Buy, Lemon Squeezy's checkout opens in a window on top of our page, loaded from Lemon Squeezy's servers.

Purchases and trial downloads

Checkout and downloads are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy collects your name, email address, billing country and payment details to process the order, calculate tax and prevent fraud, under its own privacy policy. We receive your name, email address, country and order details. We never see your card details.

We use your email address to send your licence key, download links and important product updates. If you agree to it at checkout, we may also send occasional news about our products; every such email has an unsubscribe link.

The software

When you activate, deactivate or the monthly licence check runs, the software sends our server your licence key, the product name and an anonymous computer identifier (a one-way hash that cannot be turned back into hardware details). Our server checks the key with Lemon Squeezy. The software sends nothing about your audio, projects, files or usage, and it contains no analytics.

How long we keep data

Order and licence records are kept for as long as your licence exists and as long as tax law requires. Server logs are kept for a short period by our host.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it (deleting your licence record means the licence can no longer be activated). Email support@emberaudiolabs.com.
